This year's YES PROJECT aims to promote dance as an non-formal education with dancers from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Spain and Turkey. Their final objective will be to present a dance that they developed here, in Sandaski, Bulgaria on a stage of the Balkan Youth Festival. They will also create a database with games based on dance. They will share games that they already know and create new ones.

         Introducing our countries

Group work :  The participants had the task to make a drawing of their country, how they want us to see or remember their country.

Spanish team being very creative and inspired :)

Turks doing a bridge that signify that they are the west and the east at the same time.

Italians drew their national sites - the Colloseum and their famous foods like pizza and pasta.

Different dance styles: They also had to promote their styles of dance, and all danced different styles, like the Turks did some hip-hop and teaching us a national dance of their, Romanians doing a national dance and inviting people to join them, the Spanish people also teached their national dance.

        Flash mob

We went to see the flash mob orgnized by the volunteers of the BYF.

        Bulgarian Night:

We went out to an restaurant to celebrate the national holyday of Bulgaria, they were dancing national dances, trying to blend in or learn the dance, the fact that they didn't knew how to dance it was not so important. We all had a good time.
